Quinte Waste Solutions is again reminding residents that tall blue boxes (higher than 13 inches), are not to be filled with paper and cardboard. The boxes were designed for plastic and metal containers only. It has always been the policy of Quinte Waste Solutions that no other materials would be accepted in these boxes.

Due to a work place injury, this policy is being enforced. A tall blue box that has materials other than plastic and metal will not be accepted. If you wish to exchange your tall blue box for a standard sized blue box, free of charge, visit our website for your local exchange station.
Please have your recycling out by 7 am on your designated recycling day. We apologize for any inconvenience.

For more information and updates regarding our Blue Box Program, including how to properly sort your recycling, please visit our website at Updates are also posted on all our social media platforms.
